Our workshop can undertake full or part Restorations of almost any Car or Tractor and over the last few years we have become very experienced in this Area.
No restoration job is the same so the first thing we do at G & D Garage is to inspect the vehicle so as to provide the customer with a preliminary estimate of the cost of the repairs to be undertaken.
We will identify and confirm the works to be carried out with the customer but always stress that especially in the case of a vehicle affected by rust that a contingency has to be allowed in the case of more rust being found.
A complete restoration can be quite an expensive undertaking so we work on a competitive pre agreed hourly rate and do stage payments.
At the beginning of the works we discuss a time frame for completion of the works and document and photograph the project as it moves along. We welcome visits from the customer at different stages during the works to see how things are proceeding.
